Anna Fawcett, executive producer at Filmgraphics, and The Monkeys co-founders Scott Nowell and Justin Drape have been inducted into the AWARD Hall of Fame during a ceremony as part of This Way Up.
Fawcett has been at Filmgraphics for more than 30 "fabulous" years.
"Not that I'm counting. It turned out to be the dream job for the dream director, the company full of brilliant filmmakers who worked hard but also knew how to have a lot of fun. And I hope we continue to have a lot of fun in this industry," she said at an event in Sydney.
"I want to thank all my friends and colleagues who said such kind things about me. I thought exactly the same way about you."
Mark Green, The Monkeys co-founder, said Scott Nowell and Justin Drape met at AWARD school.
"This is a fitting tribute that we're here today, 25 years later from when they started, having graduated from the AWARD school."
Green, then a young suit, met the two at Saatchi and Saatchi. He realised, pitching to clients, where the work that was attracting clients was coming from.
"Frustratingly, for a lot of people, these really good looking guys were also super nice," Green said.
"The second time I met them, I walked into their office and said, 'Have you ever thought about starting an agency?'
"And they pulled out a couple of business cards, Catapult Communications. And a seed was born."
Eventually Three Drunk Monkeys, later The Monkeys, was formed at a meeting in a café at Tamarama in Sydney's east.
