Australia has picked up a spate of trophies at the Cannes Lions Health including two silver in the Pharma category and one in Health and Wellness.

In Pharma, Leo Burnett Sydney picked up a Silver Lion for 'Brainband' for Samsung Australia, which aims to help tackle sporting concussions, by tracking impacts to the head in real time.

Grey Melbourne won a Silver Lion for its ‘This Bike has MS’ work for MS Australia. The campaign saw the agency build a bike which mimicked the symptoms of MS in order to create greater awareness of the disease.

Grey Melbourne’s ‘This Bike has MS’ was also the only silver medallist for Australia in the Health and Wellness Lions and also picked up a Bronze Lion in Pharma.

Ogilvy Commonhealth Sydney won three bronze in Pharma for ‘Still Rockin’ On’ and ‘Still Going Strong’ for Boehringer Ingelheim.

In the Health and Wellness category, J Walter Thompson Sydney scored a Bronze Lion for its ‘The Lucky Ones’ campaign for Parkinson’s NSW and Leo Burnett Melbourne picked up two for ‘Reword’ for Headspace.

GPY&R Melbourne also won a Bronze Lion for its ‘You’re Accepted’ work for LGBT youth support group Minus 18.

The Grand Prix for the Health and Wellness category was given to FCB Inferno London for ‘#ProjectIlliteracy’ for Pearson. In Pharma, the Grand Prix went to Ogilvy & Mather London for ‘Breathless Choir’ for Philips.
