Spikes has confirmed the jury presidents who will lead the 14 juries at this year's festival, which takes place from 27- 29 September in Singapore.

IPG Mediabrands CEO Danny Bass and J72andSunny APAC ECD Johnny Tan will be among the presidents, as well as Y&R ANZ CCO and CEO Josh Moore.

Mediabrands' Bass will be heading up the Media category, Tan will lead the Design category and Moore will take charge of Outdoor and Radio.

Spikes Asia festival director Andrea Hayes says: “The Jury Presidents are key to ensuring that the juries maintain their vision of the standard they want to set for the industry and the direction they want to take as a collective. We’re honoured and delighted to have such a breadth of creative greats involved this year to lead these discussions on creativity in the region.”

The festival, which celebrates creativity and communications, saw Clemenger BBDO Melbourne come second for the Agency of the Year award and Starcom Melbourne winning Media Agency of the Year in 2016.

Finch Australia won the Spikes Palm Award and Headspace's Reword by Leo Burnett Melbourne won the Grand Prix for Good.

Spikes is owned by Ascential Events, which also owns Cannes Lions.

Cannes Lions co-chairman Terry Savage calls Asia Pacific “a melting pot of innovation, craft and outstanding creativity”.

“We’ve seen how effective this is in generating real results for brands and real engagement from consumers. Spikes Asia is committed to providing a platform to showcase the very best of Asia Pacific’s creativity to the rest of the world and our jury presidents share the same vision,” he adds.

Spikes Asia registration and entries are now open.
