ARN shakes up sales structure, appoints state-based directors

Broadcaster ARN has introduced a state-based sales structure across Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide and Perth, and announced five senior commercial appointments.

The new directors will lead their respective state-based sales team with responsibility for metro, regional and digital revenues. Working alongside the newly formed Integrate by ARN team and the global iHeart team.

All roles report to recently appointed director of sales – total audio Richard Hunwick.

Ashlea Reece is director of sales – total audio Sydney. Reece has been at ARN for 15 years and is currently the Sydney sales director – agency. 

Nick Flood is director of sales – total audio Melbourne. Flood has been at ARN for seven years and is currently the national sales director – independent agencies and direct advertisers in Melbourne.

Emily Buckby is director of sales – total audio Brisbane. Buckby has been at ARN for nine years and is currently the Brisbane sales director – agency. 

Sonia Russo is director of sales – total audio Adelaide. Russo has been at ARN for 16 years and is currently the Adelaide sales director – agency. 

Aaron Bryant is director of sales – total audio (Perth). Bryant has been at ARN for six years and is currently Perth sales director – agency.

ARN chief operating officer Michael Stephenson said the Total Audio commercial structure creates a single point of contact for every partner in every market to leverage ARN's audio platform.

“The fact that we have been able to promote Ash, Nick, Emily, Sonia and Aaron is testament to the breadth and depth of talent we have within our business," Stephenson said.

"We have the biggest stars, the best brands, the largest platforms and we now have a commercial structure that will allow us to unlock these assets for our advertising partners.”

The new appointments are effective immediately.
