ARN has signed on as official FM & Podcast Partner for the Australian Open for 2023.
The partnership will be brought to life across the KIIS Network, GOLD104.3 and iHeart, with all three brands broadcasting specially curated content across the two weeks and being the exclusive home for on-air ticket giveaways.
KIIS101.1’s Jase & Lauren will be leading the charge with listener-interactive competitions and content, as well as the show’s news anchor Clint Stanaway bringing live updates throughout competition days. This content will be syndicated across the network on KIIS 1065, KIIS 97.3 and Mix102.3.
Melbourne’s GOLD104.3 will also be offering major prizes in the lead-up to the two-week event and the Australian Open radio station ‘AO Radio’, which provides ball-by-call commentary of the matches and regular news updates from across Melbourne Park, will be available to stream via the free iHeart app.
ARN chief strategy & connections officer Lauren Joyce said: “The Australian Open is an event synonymous with Melbourne. It merges elements of sport, lifestyle, hospitality and fashion – all of the things that our audiences love and that truly make the city great.
“We are thrilled be the official FM & Podcast partner for the AO and bring all the excitement of the event to our listeners via the KIIS Network, championed by Melbourne’s own Jase & Lauren, as well as across GOLD104.3 and iHeart.”
Tennis Australian chief revenue officer Cedric Cornelissaid: “We are delighted to partner with ARN as the Australian Open’s first Official FM & Podcast Partner.
“The ARN network has an exciting breadth of coverage across their flagship FM networks, the KIIS Network & Pure Gold Network, as well as being the leading podcast publisher in Australia through iHeart. We are thrilled to connect all the colour and fun of the AO and extend our story to the ARN listeners.”
ARN’s partnership with the Australian Open officially kicks off from 2 January, with KIIS 101.1’s Jase & Lauren back on air from Monday 16 January.
