Cancer Council and The Australian Government have taken out the ARIA for Best Use of an Australian Recording in an Advertisement with their 'End The Trend' campaign by Bolster Group and Publicis Groupe.

The other finalists included the NRL and AFL's 'WARRIORS & STORYTELLERS' by Fox Sports Australia and Kobie Dee; Qantas' Olympics and Paralympics campaign 'Already Proud' by Howatson+Company; realestate.com.au's 'Keep Moving' by 72andSunny and Eurogliders; and Speedo International's Go Full Speedo -by Collider/Mirimar and The Beefs.

This is the second year of the advertising-focused award category, which recognises and celebrates the best use of Australian music in the creative and advertising industry, calling upon brands and creatives to support and invest their music budgets into homegrown artists.

Last year's winners included INNOCEAN and 72andSunny with Campfire X.

ARIA CEO Annabelle Herd said everyone at ARIA is "so proud" of the global-facing industry that proved exactly how much Australia has to be proud of when it comes to homegrown music.

"I’m beyond excited for the future of Australian music after seeing the incredible talent of the winners, performers, and nominees at this year’s Awards," she said.
