Andy Taylor and Sarah McNeil.
Andy Taylor has been appointed account director at independent Sunny Advertising.
He has worked across three continents with a number of media organisations including Publicis Groupe, Omnicom and dentsu.
“I started my media career at an independent agency thirty two years ago, and it’s great to be back,” he said.
“The culture at Sunny Advertising hits hard, the values that we play to are very real, and the whole team fully embraces them. They aren’t just words that exist on the website or in a pitch deck, they are 100% real, which is vital to our future success.":
Sunny Advertising managing director Roger Delaney has known Taylor for quite a few years.
“We’ve been very keen to get him on board in some way,” he said.
“His vast experience and ability to successfully negotiate and manage complex client strategies and media investment contracts totalling over $1.5 billion per annum across Australia and New Zealand will be invaluable for our clients as well as our team.
“We have had significant growth over the past few years and Andy’s extensive experience in agency commercial operations, stakeholder account management and group investment negotiations will help propel our growth to an even higher level.”
The appointment coincides with media sales professional Toni Howard joining the team as an account manager.
Howard has spent nearly a decade in sales and managerial roles with Southern Cross Austereo and News Corp Australia.
