Global creative agency Amplify has been appointed by Polestar, the Swedish electric performance car brand, to help preview the future of electric mobility at a series of events across Australia.

Amplify will be responsible for the delivery of the ‘Polestar electric roadster concept On Tour’ to mark the arrival of the Polestar electric roadster concept vehicle, Amplify has led all creative and production elements including location sourcing, design, build and lighting of the space.

The agency has also been responsible for visually presenting the broader Polestar sustainability story through an exhibition within each studio location. This marks the first time the Polestar electric roadster concept has been on Australian soil, and it is part of a global tour.

The events being held in Melbourne, Brisbane and Sydney are both a celebration of sustainability and a window into a better tomorrow. Featuring key industry leaders from across the sustainability space, the Polestar Talk series is an engaging and insightful panel discussion addressing the rapid need for change through design, innovation, and better business practices.

Panellists joining Samantha Johnson - managing director, Polestar Australia, include Jeremy McLeod, founder and design director at Breathe Architecture, Sam Elsom, founder of Sea Forest, Yasmin Grigaliunas, CEO and co-founder of Circonomy and Ross Harding, principal at Finding Infinity.

Jonathan Williams, head of marketing, Polestar, said: “As a design-led brand, Polestar look for partners with a proven track record of delivering world-class events. But above all, we look for shared values, and that was evident with how Amplify grasped Polestar’s unique design language and sustainability vision, and were able to bring this to life with passion."

Amplify executive creative director Tim Baggott said: "As genuine admirers of the Polestar brand, we are delighted to have been tasked with bringing the Polestar electric roadster concept to Australia. It has been a joy to articulate the brand's beautifully considered design aesthetic across three cities and collaborating with an organisation that has such an ambitious sustainability mission at its heart is a real privilege."
