Financial services company AMP is evaluating its agency roster, AdNews can reveal.

AdNews understands CHEP is the incumbent on both media and creative accounts.

Omnicom creative agency CHEP was appointed as the brand's creative agency in 2022 after a competitive review.

IPG media agency UM Australia was the brand's previous media agency, winning the account in 2011 which followed the acquisition and consolidation of insurance firm AXA into AMP.

UM has not worked with AMP for some years and AdNews understands CHEP took over the media account then.

The brands last campaign, 'Get super close to your super' launched in August last year, encouraged Australians to get more involved with their super, by challenging the typical ‘set and forget’ mindset.

Earlier this month, AMP launched a new digital bank targeting “under-served small and micro businesses, solopreneurs, side hustlers, and everyday banking customers”.

The bank's launch will be supported by marketing focused on digital channels, including social media, and had secured 11,600 early sign ups ahead of release.

AMP's financial results for 2024 saw underlying Net Profit After Tax (NPAT) up 15.1% to $236 million (FY 23: $205 million).

AMP and CHEP gave no comment to AdNews.
