Giant online retailer Amazon increased advertising services sales 18% to $US17.288 billion in the December quarter.
This compared to a 10% rise in net sales to $187.8 billion.
Amazon is now third in the global digital advertising league behind Google and Meta.
“The holiday shopping season was the most successful yet for Amazon and we appreciate the support of our customers, selling partners, and employees who helped make it so,” said CEO Andy Jassy.
The company forecasts net sales in the March quarter to grow 5% to 9%, to be between $151 billion and $155.5 billion.
