Alex Derwin and Hugh Munro reveal their new agency

Former BMF chief creative officer Alex Derwin and Hugh Munro, former chief strategy officer at The Monkeys, part of Accenture Song, have revealed the name of their new venture.

It's called Rick Barry but both are staying silent, for now, on the rest of the agency's details and they prepare their first work.

The agency is described: "Unorthodox. Effective."

On LinkedIn, Derwin is listed as founder and chief creative officer, Munro co-founder and CSO. 

Derwin's last day at BMF was about two weeks ago. He joined BMF in 2015 as creative director, before becoming ECD in 2018 and CCO in 2020.

"It’s been a monumental nine years and I couldn’t have wished for more," he told AdNews
