Supermarket ALDI is giving hot-cross bun enthusiasts the opportunity to take their adoration of the iconic Easter snack to the egg-streme.
From March 29 ALDI shoppers will be able to eat their buns and wear them.
In an exclusive collaboration with iconic brand Budgy Smuggler Australia, shoppers can get a pair of bottoms and one-piece swimmers designed in a signature ALDI print.
All profits from the sale of these bun-believable creations will go to ALDI’s national charity partner Camp Quality, which helsp to bring positivity, fun and laughter back into the lives of children facing cancer.
ALDI Australia buying director for bread and bakery Luke Lemma said the brand is always excited to introduce customers to new additions to our Easter bakery range each year.
Budgy Smuggler head of partnerships Jimmy Exelby said ALDI does Good Different.
"We do Good Smuggling, so it’s a no brainer to combine forces and deliver the hottest buns this Easter," Exelby said.
"These tasty treats aren’t just good different, they’re perfect for anyone that wants to look (and feel) like a snack.
“Whether you’re poolside, beach-bound, or just popping down to ALDI for another pack of their giant hot cross buns, these Bun-gy Smugglers will have you looking hotter than a freshly toasted brioche.”
