Media agency Alchemy One has appointed Jeremy Chaker digital director.

Chaker will be responsible for delivering digital solutions to clients and will be critical in the growth of the agency’s activation team.

Chaker has more than seven years’ experience in digital marketing, backed by his qualifications in econometrics and finance, and joins Alchemy One from Deferit, a buy now pay later business, where he was head of performance marketing.

Before that he was senior performance manager at Bench, where he worked on a number of brands including Tyro, Harley Davidson, Netflix, eToro, UTS and Stake, leading the end-to-end implementation of digital campaigns.

Chaker’s appointment follows the promotion of Aline Eloy at Alchemy One who, after two years with the agency, has moved into the group digital director role where she will be responsible for the continued evolution of Alchemy One’s digital product to deliver on the company’s positioning of 'radical transformation, unrivalled impact'.

“We are thrilled to have Jeremy join us at Alchemy One," Eloy said. "He will be pivotal in supporting our clients’ and Alchemy One’s digital growth.

"His passion for the industry, love of mentoring teams, and drive to deliver best-practice digital solutions for client partners is what excites us the most about having him join the team.

"I know Jeremy will be a huge support in delivering on our ambitions as an agency and will be pivotal in working collaboratively with client partners to deliver the best solutions that drive results."

Chaker said: “I’m so excited to join Alchemy One. I can tell already that I am going to be surrounded by so many ambitious and talented people.

"I can’t wait to get stuck in and start working with our client partners and contribute to their success. It's rare to find an agency whose values perfectly align with those of its clients, and I'm sure the best is yet to come.

"I can't wait to see what we are going to achieve over the next 12 months.”
