Sydney based launch specialists Two Mad Cowboys (TMC) has been appointed creative lead for community marketplace Airtasker following a five way pitch.
TMC will be responsible for creating and launching a new brand platform for Airtasker to a national and international audience.
Airtasker brand lead Sarah May says the entire team was excited about Two Mad Cowboys refreshing approach.
"We were looking for a different kind of agency with the creative firepower to transcend Australian and international markets. Their agile, relaxed and collaborative approach is super refreshing," May says.
“Through the pitch, Two Mad Cowboys demonstrated their ability to take us to a range of new places with the cultural resonance we need to move the brand forward.
"The platform idea that was pitched instantly resonated and has a cheekiness, we can’t wait to see it come to life."
Airtasker is a community marketplace that connects people who need work done with people who want to work.
People and businesses can simply post a task and then choose from rated, verified and reviewed people ready to work straight away.
Founded in 2012, Airtasker has grown to support more than 3.6 million members across Australia, with 30,000 monthly active 'Taskers'.
Two Mad Cowboys creative partner Matt Sterne says Airtasker is a client that naturally fits the agency's philosophy of producing work that grabs attention.
"Airtasker is a marketplace we've come to admire for some time and frequently use ourselves," Sterne says.
"After a remotely produced COVID community piece, we’re looking forward to launching the next global brand platform with a bang."
The addition of Airtasker adds to Two Mad Cowboys client roster including Xinja Bank and Breville Group in which it leads the global creative account.
