Advertisers today paid tribute to the late Sam Smith, a pioneer in digital ad sales in Australia and a former board director of the Australian Association of National Advertisers (AANA).
Martin Brown, chairman of the AANA, was deeply saddened to learn of the death of Sam Smith. He joined the AANA board in 2017.
“This is very sad news. Sam brought an energy and enthusiasm to everything he did, making him a very popular board member and one who was always willing to help his colleagues and work selflessly and tirelessly on behalf of the industry," says Brown.
"On behalf of all my colleagues at the AANA, our heartfelt condolences go out to Sam’s partner, family and friends.
"Sam was a genuinely lovely man and a good friend. He will be sorely missed by us all."
