European adtech platform Adhese is launching in APAC through a partnership with Uncommon Media, offering privacy-compliant end-to-end services tailored for the retail sector.

Adhese, which aims to simplify the complexities of retail media and open up new revenue streams, is used by a number of large retailers across Europe and is backed by Ahold Delhaize.

Uncommon Media is part of the Uncommon Group, alongside Uncommon People, and is led by Kees de Jong. It offers a suite of services, from data compliance and tech implementation to ad operations and sales representation also known as retail media as a service (RMAAS), providing retailers with an out-of-the-box solution to tackle retail media without the need for extensive internal resources.

de Jong said the retail media landscape is growing and changing fast and the company aims to give retailers the tools to make it work for them.

“Our partnership with Adhese means we can offer a world-class, flexible solution which has been purpose-built for retail by retailers, for retailers right here in APAC," he said.

Adhese co-founder, Tim Sturtewagen, said the company chose to partner with Uncommon Media because of their depth of expertise across the APAC advertising landscape.

"Their knowledge and large network in the region combined with Adhese's robust and proven platform make us confident we will deliver value to many new customers," he said.
