The Australian Commercial Radio Awards (ACRAs) live event has been cancelled for a second time due to the pandemic.
The event had been pushed back from October to February 13 to allow time for corporate events and interstate travel to resume once government COVID-19 vaccination targets are met.
However, industry body Commercial Radio Australia (CRA) says winners will instead be announced in December and will be posted to the event website www.acras.com.au.
“The decision was made by the CRA Board at its meeting on 28 October,” CRA said in a statement.
“The Board took into consideration the impact of possible state lockdowns and, subsequently, the potential absence of many industry nominees and stakeholders.”
