Accenture Interactive managing director ANZ Michael Buckley has left the business after nearly six years with the consultancy.
Buckley was responsible for the growth and management of Accenture Interactive in Australia and New Zealand.
He played an instrumental role in the acquisitions of The Monkeys and Maud and helped launch its digital ad buying division.
"We can confirm that Michael Buckley has left Accenture and we wish him the best for his future endeavours," an Accenture spokesperson told AdNews.
Prior to joining Accenture, Buckley was founder and CEO of both Pebble Digital and Razorfish, and was a managing partner at Isobar from 2000 to 2005.
The news of Buckley's departure comes after the consultancy acquired Droga5 in April, as well as US ad tech business Adaptly and Australian Oracle reseller PrimeQ for $31 million in December.
