A $30 million public health advertising campaign aimed at the coronavirus will reportedly soon be launched in Australia.

The federal government is finalising the campaign, according to media reports.

"It will outline how to limit the spread of COVID-19 through hygiene measures, what to do if symptoms develop and where to seek help," says the ABC.

UM, the agency of record for the federal government, had no comment.

The campaign will include television, radio, print, digital and social media advertisements.

Australia has 100 officially confirmed coronavirus cases and three deaths.

Special clincis are being setup across Australia to deal with testing and new cases.

Health minister Greg Hunt: "Australia has a world-class health system and is well prepared to deal with this virus, but we are not immune. The government’s priority is the health and wellbeing of Australians."
