72andSunny Sydney has promoted Whitney Hawthorn to head of delivery.
Hawthorn was one of 72andSunny’s first team members when it opened its doors in May 2017.
She has led delivery for the company’s client partners in the last three years, including Google, eBay, Paspaley, Uber, AFTRS, Mona, Lion and Chubb.
“I’ve had the pleasure of working with some wonderful people at 72andSunny as well as with fantastic client partners over these past few years," Hawthorn says.
"It's exciting working with an agency model that allows for a unique and forward thinking approach to production across any form of deliverable.”
Her 30-year career includes senior positions with some of the best-regarded creative agencies and production houses in Australia, including Leo Burnett, JWT, Flying Fish, The Monkeys, R/GA and BMF.
She has worked in roles including head of content and broadcast production.
“Whitney is a hyper-modern maker and great human in equal measure," 72andSunny APAC CEO Chris Kay says.
"She has a fluidity to how she creatively problem solves, and as our breadth of output grows, she is the ideal person to lead drive our collaborative approach to creating. We are glad she is part of our gang.”
The appointment follows the news of Luke Martin joining as head of product, new client partnerships for 72andSunny Sydney with Chubb, Lion’s Toohey’s Extra Dry and Little Creatures, Infigen and recent work for Google, Uber and Byron Bay Brewery.
