AdNews is delighted to announce entries are officially open for our 2020 Emerging Leaders.

In a year filled with so much change, there has never been a more important time to celebrate and showcase the industry’s next wave of leaders.

“AdNews is committed to celebrating the next generation of talent in what is a pivotal time for the media, advertising and marketing industries," AdNews publisher Assia Benmedjdoub says.

This year’s entries for Emerging Leaders will be reviewed by a panel (to be confirmed soon) who will select the Top 20 for publication in our September/October edition.

The overall winner of the Top 20 will be announced at a special event next year.

They will also receive an executive coaching program of eight coaching sessions from The Transition Coach, with an opportunity to work on their professional goals and leadership development.

The Transition Coach founder Andrew Sherman helps people deliver results with an evidence-based approach to coaching, combined with the benefit of practical industry leadership experience.

Before becoming a coach, Andrew was a founding director of M&C Saatchi in London and managing partner in a start-up media buying company called Walker Media. In 2004, Andrew moved to Australia to join Publicis owned, Zenith Media before making the transition to become an executive coach.

The overall winner of the 2019 Emerging Leaders will be announced later this year at our AdNews Agency of the Year Awards. Stay tuned for more details.

“We look forward to awarding our 2019 winner and finalists later this year and seeing what the next wave of change makers brings," Benmedjdoub says.

“Here’s to continued innovation and leadership in the Australian media community.”
