Its the latest buzz from Amazon after its first smartphone launch, this time luring customers in with free goodies in a packed market.
"Twitter, Minecraft and then some Hunger Games." It's the latest buzz from Amazon just a month after announcing its first smartphone, the Fire Phone.
The new smartphone boasts a screen larger than Apple, though smaller than Samsung, and has what is coined the Firefly Button. If pressed users are able to tap into the camera, take a snap of a physical product which the web will recognise automatically to amke it easy to buy on Amazon. Neat.
The first TV ad for the mobile device puts heavy emphasis on Amazon content as a way to stand out from every other smartphone on the market. It's offering a full year of Prime membership for free if you buy the Fire handset, including Prime Instant Video and access to a library of music, movies and books.
The campaign runs across TV and digital in the US.
