Virgin Australia has a launched campaign to coincide with the AFL finals series, celebrating the diversity of AFL players and fans.
Virgin Australia is the latest brand to showcase diversity its in advertising. The 60-second spot aim to highlight the spirit of the organisation and unite Australians by the colours of their team.
The new campaign features three AFL players - Cyril Rioli from Hawthorn, Aliir Aliir from Sydney, and Lin Jong from the Western Bulldogs - alongside supporters from all eight AFL Finals teams.
Virgin Australia general manager of marketing, Arno Lenior says: “We are passionate about celebrating and showcasing what’s possible when diversity is embraced, and there is no better time to do this than AFL Finals, when people from different walks of life come together under the colours of their team.
“We are encouraging people to focus on what’s important – the possibilities that exist when you break down barriers."
It will run throughout the remainder of the Toyota AFL Finals Series across television, digital and social media channels.
