Hungry? For one day only you can call an Uber to deliver your lunch and it's all for a good cause.
The event is part of a tie up between OzHarvest and Uber and is part of Uber's bid to spread the charity's message. It will see some of Australia's best known chefs - including Neil Perry, Matt Moran and George Calombaris - creating meals to be delivered to customers in six cities across the country, for one day only.
Better yet? Every dollar goes to OzHarvest.
OzHarvest founder and CEO Ronni Khan said: "When innovative, passionate brands with purpose come together to do good, only good can come out of it. We’re so proud that Uber has joined us on our food revolution and hope that the public can too. Together we can reduce food waste and eliminate hunger."
Uber has a total goal of donating 50,000 meals to the less fortunate. To kick off the fundraising effort, it has started by making a $10,000 donation which will fund 20,000 meals.
