Schweppes has launched a Floating Market brand activation at this year’s Fairfax Night Noodle Markets.
Melbourne creative agency, The Taboo Group, was briefed to create a memorable brand experience as part of Good Food Month across Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne.
Drawing inspiration from the river markets of Thailand, Indonesia and Vietnam, where goods are bought and sold from boats, the Schweppes Floating Market brings an authentic Asian experience to the Night Noodle Markets.
Drinks are served from market boats, stacked high with fruit, in a river setting that runs through the activation space. Taboo’s creative concept was brought to life with build partner, Moth Design.
Schweppes is using the activation space to launch two new flavoured Mineral Waters, Pear & Melon and Guava & Pear, both designed to complement the Asian food on offer.
Georgia De Alvarez Witts, category manager, Schweppes Mineral Water said: “When Taboo brought the Schweppes Floating Markets concept to us, we knew that they had a winning idea. We have been so impressed with how Taboo and Moth have brought the concept to life and feel confident we have created a really memorable experience for consumers.”
