The campaign returns for its ninth year.
Australasian real estate group Ray White has launched its ninth festive ‘A Little Ray of Giving’ campaign, designed to give offices the flexibility and freedom to partner with charities to deliver cheer across the Christmas period to those in need of it most.
“It’s been a year like no other and the ability to come together and help those less fortunate has never been more relevant,” says Ray White senior marketing manager Todd Alexander.
“Now in its ninth year, A Little Ray of Giving is well-established as an excellent way for offices in our group to not only celebrate Christmas, but to connect with their local communities by doing something together that makes a real difference.
“In recent years, we’ve seen offices choose local charities that benefit a wide variety of causes, ranging from Rotary to the Salvation Army, and Victims of Domestic Violence to the RSPCA, just to name a few.”
Ray White marketing assistant Katrina Lloyd, who is managing her second A Little Ray of Giving campaign, says offices get to partner with a local charity that they connect with.
“They put up a Christmas tree and invite their local community to donate gifts throughout late November and December - then arrange for the chosen charity to collect the gifts in time to celebrate Christmas,” Lloyd says.
“In 2019, we had over 350 offices take part across Australia and New Zealand with over 11,000 gifts given to those in need in local communities, along with $2,200 in cash, $1,000 in gift cards, and 307 bags of food.”
