Priceline celebrates the grit and determination of Australia's finest female sports stars in its latest spot.
Priceline Pharmacy has launched a new campaign that celebrates the passion and determination of Australia's top female sports stars.
The campaign, Women in Sport, by Ogilvy Melbourne, shows female athletes from AFL, BBL cricket and netball pushing their bodies to the limit to become the 1% who make it into professional sport.
“For too long female athletes have not received the same level of exposure as their male counterparts. But the tide is turning and we’re entering a more equal era of sport,” Priceline GM of marketing Mark O’Keefe says.
“The teams that we support are world class. We’re behind them 100% and love the fact that we can inspire the next generation by telling the stories of the clubs and players we’re involved with. Our customers are excited by the rise to prominence of women’s sport and we wanted to recognise that.”
The campaign builds on Priceline's 100% Woman brand platform and further aligns it as a major backer of women's sport. Priceline is a sponsor Netball SA and the Adelaide Thunderbirds, the Western Bulldogs AFL Women’s team, Sydney Sixers Women’s team, the Kooyong Classic tennis tournament, Rio Olympian (Steeplechase) Genevieve LaCaze and Rio Olympian (Volleyball) Mariafe Artacho del Solar.
