Who needs a celebrity cameo when you have orangutans?
The new Nuttelex TV commercial has the cutest characters – orangutans from the heart of Borneo.
In promotion of the new palm oil free spread, Nuttelex teamed up with The Sanford Partnership and flew to Borneo to film rescued and orphaned orangutans at the Orangutan Foundation International Care Centre in Kalimantan. They also released orangutans released back into the wild in the Tanjung Puting National Park.
Palm oil plantations are the main threat of the survival of orangutan populations in the wild, meaning the new product from Nuttelex is as good for the orangutans as it is for people’s health.
The TV ad was shot by Barry Malseed and Emmy award winning composer Christopher Elves donated his time to work on the project.
The campaign will run in Melbourne initially with a national campaign to come.
