Australia’s online provider and domains registrar Netregistry has helped small to medium businesses get their big ideas off the ground since 1997.
With COVID-19 changing the fabric of the Australian workplace and sparking a rise in people wanting to bring their dream and idea of working on their own business to life – this presented a unique opportunity for Netregistry to help these would-be side hustlers take the first step in making it a reality.
The campaign created by Edge, encourages aspiring entrepreneurs to ‘Seize the Domain’ and register their side hustle URL today.
“With the campaign, we want to encourage our audience to make one day, today - and help side hustlers overcome the barriers in getting started on making their dream a reality," says Edge executive director Nicole Gardner.
Leading with an online video, the campaign parallels starting a side hustle to being as easy as reaching out and grabbing a domain name with Netregistry.
The campaign sees a series of everyday people with big ideas take the first step to register their domains including poochyperms.com.au, smokescapes.com.au and cakesbycori.com.au.
Social and digital display activity will support the hero film.
“There’s never been a better time than now to turn something you’re passionate about into a successful side hustle. We wanted to break it down into simple steps and help side hustlers get started by registering a domain,” says Netregistry chief customer and operations officer Annie Mackin.
The campaign is live from today.
