Mobile is making life easier in many areas and now cooking is no different, with Maggi tapping into the trend.
The company has released a serries of bite-sized videos of easy recipes for everyday cooks, featuring Maggi's in-house chef, Richard Brogan. The videos, created by Maggi's digital agency, The White Agency, complements research finding that more people are using their mobiles to look up recipes when they cook.
The White Agency creative director Mike Barry said the videos help busy cooks create tasty family meals.
“It's not just about offering a variety of simple recipe ideas for time-poor families; it's also about delivering it to them in a high quality format on a platform that they are regularly consuming and can easily access,” Barry said.
“In addition, digital content like this can also be easily shared, thereby further extending the reach of the brand.”
The video content is the first phase of an overall refresh of the Maggi website, designed to help home cooks through social media and video content.
