Offering customers more personalisation than ever.

McDonald’s is giving fans the chance to show their love for their favourite Macca’s side, with the new McSmart Meal campaign featuring a selection of fan favourites.

Customers get a cheeseburger, small fries and a small soft drink, plus one of four sides – three chicken nuggets, a cheeseburger, a chicken ‘n’ cheese or a small sundae – for just $6.95.

The campaign celebrates this next level of choice with some unique personalities demonstrating their passion for some of Macca’s most-loved sides, whether they’re Sundae stans, Nug lovers, Cheeseburger buffs or Chicken ‘n’ Cheese fiends.

McDonald's head of value, promotions and delivery marketing Tobi Fukushima said customera can personalise their meal more than ever this year. 

“We know our fans love variety and value, so we’ve added more choice to the McSmart Meal,” he said.

“This campaign is designed to give our customers the flexibility to enjoy their meal, their way.” 

“McSmart is a great deal and tapping into Macca’s fandom has been a great deal of fun,” Jack Nunn, creative partner at DDB Sydney, said. 

The campaign launches with film, out-of-home and social, asking fans ‘What side are you on?’

The McSmart Meal campaign runs until March 4.
