Ikea celebrates the everyday with dancing rugs.
Ikea has launched the latest iteration of the 'The Best Day is the Everyday' campaign by The Monkeys.
Narrated by Swedish actress Lena Endre, the campaign will be run across TV, cinema and online.
Released in 15-second and 45-second spots, the ad sees two rugs going about their morning duties while their plastic dog watches on doing back flips.
The Monkeys co-founder and CCO Scott Nowell says the campaign aims to help Australians rediscover homeliness and will also introduce a host of new characters which tell a story around Ikea products.
This the second campaign running under the 'The Best Day is the Everyday' campaign that animates Ikea products.
Ikea Australia national marketing manager Kristin Bengtsson says: “The campaign encourages us to reconsider how we celebrate the happiness to be had in the everyday, inspiring us to be more conscious and look at the familiar differently.”
