Lee Lin Chin has found a new job following her departure from SBS; selling Sydney Metro Northwest as the "grooviest public transport project yet".
Lee Lin Chin is fronting a new campaign for Transport for NSW to educate Australians on the changes coming to Sydney transport.
The campaign, by Emotive, informs the people of Sydney’s Northwest about closures t their train line and replacement buses.
Lin Chin, the former SBS presenter, dons a pink outfit and light-heartedly explains the changes in transport.
She informs audiences that the incoming Sydney Metro Northwest will be the "grooviest public transport project Sydney has ever seen" but that, for now, there is still more work to be done.
She quips that until the ‘state of the art, world-class, driverless’ transportation system is ready, that Station Link’s ‘fashionably pink buses’ are the best option, operating via seven different routes.
Emotive CEO Simon Joyce says: “Careful consideration was made around our lead talent for this campaign. We needed a straight talker who represents honesty, progress, community and diversity. But equally we wanted to deliver the message empathetically given the pending disruption. With Lee Lin Chin we had the perfect talent that allowed us to communicate succinctly, whilst intertwining some light-hearted moments in a way that only she could.”
Since the campaign launched, Lin Chin’s Twitter page has been inundated with cheeky but supportive commentary around her role in the campaign.
The campaign will run across TV, Cinema, OOH, digital, social and NSW Transport digital assets.
