Powerhouse Basketballer and Sprite ambassador, LeBron James, isn't going to tell you to drink a Sprite, no matter how bad you want him to.
While this may feel like the main job for the face of any brand, James instead is going to ask you if you want a Sprite, not demand it.
This is the new premise for the latest Sprite ads out of the US, with the brand aiming to mimic the patterns of other celebrity endorsements.
The ad was created by Wieden & Kennedy New York and speaking with Ad Age, Danielle Henry, group director-integrated marketing content at Coca-Cola North America said: “A lot of brands use commercial endorsers, but the role of a Sprite endorser is to be unique and authentic and real.”
