Inspiring travel prospects to dream of visiting Japan.
Japan Airlines (JAL) has released a global marketing campaign 'Where Dreams Go' featuring popular destinations across
Japan.
The visuals used in the campaign were produced by Yuhki Demers, whose work is well-known for the animated film, Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse. Yuhki's work will be published across many digital channels in 19 countries in the next four months.
In anticipation of the return of international travel, Japan Airlines is stoking the ambitions of future visitors, who are dreaming of making their long-awaited trip to Japan.
In response to COVID, Japan Airlines focused on streamlining the customer journey by establishing a small, agile global marketing team. This strategy removed departmental silos to make a unified global brand experience. Since then, the team has worked diligently to build the airline's global marketing capability from scratch.
Demers said: "Working on this project meant a lot for me, especially for my mother. My mom first came to the United States from Japan as a high school exchange student and then returned for college. Then she decided to pursue her dream an interpreter in the U.S.
"Her family still live in Nagoya Prefecture, and she would always visit them flying Japan Airlines, so this project made her proud."
