SBS goes live with Adshel in digital OOH.
SBS served breaking news headlines across the Adshel network over a two-week campaign period.
During the campaign, Adshel broadcast 167 SBS headlines which aimed to reach commuters with the most up-to-date local and international news, as well as prompting passers-by to tune into the nightly bulletin.
The campaign highlights the increasing ways in which digital outdoor panels are used by advertisers.
Adshel sales and marketing director David Roddick says: “This product offering is a great example of the impact digital is having on our business and the new opportunities it brings to advertisers.”
“By offering clients new adaptive ways to connect with their audiences, we start to see out-of-home evolve."
Adshel developed a content management network specifically for the campaign. which offered SBS a real-time access to the network, as well as a mobile-enabled mediation system. This allowed Adshel to approve the content online or via a smartphone within seconds of an announcement.
SBS director of marketing Amanda McGregor said since starting work with Adshel in 2016, the partnership has enabled the news broadcaster to deliver breaking news through outdoor formats.
“The platform allows us to serve SBS World News content Australia-wide almost in real-time; something that hasn’t been possible until now,” McGregor says.
