There’s nothing like a little friendly competition between husband and wife.
Radio personality Hamish Blake and his wife, Zoe Foster-Blake, have been named as Bonds' new ambassadors to launch the brand's first ever cross-category sports range.
Fronted by the celebrity couple, the campaign is led by a TV commercial where the two go head-to-head in their activewear, skipping, punching and Hamish even pulls of a bit of twerking.
The spot bucks the trend of serious sports advertising by showing the lighter side of a little competition.
Blake announced his new ambassador title on Twitter, saying: "After we won gold at every Olympics ever, it made sense for @BondsAus to get @zotheysay & I on board."
Leo Burnett CCO Jason Williams says: "The sports category is saturated with seriousness; we wanted to change things up with a humorous truth every couple will relate to.”
Bonds head of marketing Emily Small says: "It was important to find the right mix of sport, fashion and fun. Hamish and Zoe were the perfect fit to bring the launch to life.”
