The partnership delivers a targeted school bus interior campaign.
Go Transit Media Group has partnered with @kidshelpline to deliver a targeted school bus interior campaign aimed at reaching school children and young adults across Queensland, New South Wales, Victoria, Tasmania and the Northern Territory.
Go Transit Media Group sales director Kirrily Hirst says the collaboration has enabled @kidshelpline to deliver relevant and supportive messaging regarding Australia’s only 24/7, private and confidential counselling service via 800 school busses.
“Accessing our school bus network to promote key messages such as bullying, loneliness and safe use of the internet enables @kidshelpline to specifically reach young people aged between five and 25 and hopefully encourage those who need support to call and seek professional advice," Hirst says.
"This is particularly important as we navigate our way through the impact of COVID-19.
“It’s an important free service provided by @kidshelpline and Go Transit are pleased to be able to offer our support to help to alleviate the pressure that many children and young adults face on a daily basis."
A recent survey conducted by Pivot Professional Learning and the Coalition of Australian Principals of 456 school leaders has revealed the detrimental impact of COVID-19 on schools, with 80% saying both students and teachers' mental health had been negatively impacted.
