It's taken near 40 years for the catchy tune from The Partridge Family "Come on, get happy" to leave the collective minds of the Australian public. Now it's back.
The Reject Shop has given The Partridge Family track "Come on, get happy" a facelift by calling for shoppers to 'come on, get savvy.' But more than just a smile-laden serving of nostalgia, the spot also pushes the message that you can get pretty much anything at The Reject Shop - gardening equipment, party supplies, toys, pet care - and that you'll get it for a song too.
“Research tells us that shopping at The Reject Shop is fun; you never know what you’re going to discover. So the advertising had to be fun and communicate the breadth of product range,” Spinach executive creative director Frank Morabito said.
The campaign launches with 60 and 30 second television ads followed by 15-second product commercials.
