How did meerkats, traditionally found in Africa, come to live in Russia?
The historic tale of Aleksandr Orlov's ancestors and their heroic journey to Russia is told in the latest spot in the Compare the Market advertising campaign.
For the first time, Aleksandr has made it onto the big screen, with the spot showing in cinemas nationwide as well as on TV.
'The Journey of Courageousness' features Aleksandr and his sidekick Sergei in the starring roles.

They have such a strong following, so it was just a matter of time before Aleksandr and Sergei graced our big screens.
