Ford releases first Super Bowl ad in three-years

Ford's Super Bowl ad is about a lot more than car sales.

Car sales giant Ford has released its Super Bowl ad, with little focus on the vehicles and lots of focus on the buyers experience.

The 90-second spot will air right before kick-off and touts Ford as a mobility provider rather than simply a car manufacturer. The ad is by WPP's dedicated Ford branch Global Team Blue.

The ad pushes Ford's ride-sharing and bike sharing services, as well as plugging the self-driving cars that are still in development. This is the first time since 2014 that Ford has run a national Super Bowl ad.
