Fairfax newspapers will give rugby coverage a push with an interactive online game campaign to boost reader engagement
Rugby fanatics have their chance to pick their ultimate fifteen in Fairfax's ‘The Gods of Rugby Heaven’ campaign, an interactive online game that allows readers to choose a team from more than 75 players.
The campaign aims to promote rugby coverage in Fairax newspapers and online, as well and build engagement with readers.
Fairfax collaborated with digital agency WiTH Collective to produce the game, giving the winner the chance to win multiple prizes including a state-of-the-art TV, two La-Z-Boy Recliners, a Sony PlayStation and Sony PlayStation world cup game.
The top prize will be given to the reader who selects a team that matches – or most closely resembles – a team hand-picked by a panel of experts, including rugby union legends Matthew Burke, Brian O'Driscoll, Simon Poidevin, Andrew Mehrtens and Bob Dwyer.
