No you're not seeing double. This October long weekend, Transport for NSW wants you to “think twice” about the consequences of doing the wrong thing on the road.
While a collective groan sweeps the state at the very mention of double demerits, the TVC aims to show drivers the immediate repurcussion of driving dangerously: two policemen, two lots of demerit deductions and possibly your licence.
The TVC is part of an integrated campaign developed by Ogilvy and Mather Sydney and launched on September 28. It will be visible across NSW through metro and regional TV, radio and digital display banners. Additionally, TV and radio commercials have been produced in Arabic, Cantonese, Vietnamese and Mandarin for airing on non-English media stations
