Domino’s has pulled off one of the great peace missions of our time, with the reunification of footy legends Paul Gallen and Nate Myles after their infamous State of Origin biff seven years ago.
The campaign, created by Elevencom, features Gallen and Myles putting aside their differences to share a Domino’s Half ‘n’ Half pizza.
“We believe nothing brings people together like Domino’s and getting these two famous rivals together is the latest proof of that,” Domino’s chief marketing officer ANZ Allan Collins says.
Collins says that now customers can split any large pizza for free, hundreds of Maroons and Blues supporters are expected to the come together in living rooms across Australia.
Elevencom creative strategy director Jono McCauley says the campaign was part of the creative transformation of the Domino’s brand under the new tagline: Bring It In.
“The Bring It In campaign is all about demonstrating that pizza is the most sharable food on the planet and no-one delivers that experience better than Domino’s – especially at Origin time,” McCauley says.
The two commercials will run nationally on TV and digital channels.
