A gateway to kitchen confidence.
Australian creative agency Common Ventures has launched a unvarnished take for Breville's latest North American campaign, demonstrating how meal prep transforms with the right kitchen ally.
The recipe? Reality with a sprinkle of magic.
The campaign showcases Breville's Smart Oven Air Fryer Compact and shows how its simple speed dial control becomes a gateway to kitchen confidence, infusing everyday cooking with just enough magic to transform everyday kitchen challenges into culinary victories.
The campaign's hero film captures a series of everyday cooks discovering their new superpower.
Through choreographed stop-motion and playful transitions, the film reimagines appliance advertising through a more authentic lens while showcasing the product's versatility.
Common Ventures creative director James Crawley said the campaign is celebrating those beautifully chaotic moments of real life - when dinner needs to appear before the hangry meltdowns begin, or when unexpected guests arrive just as you're contemplating toasties for dinner.
"That's where this product really shines," Crawley said.
Breville head of global brand strategy and advertising Noel Burchill said the brand wanted to develop a campaign that highlights our product innovation while connecting with consumers' real needs.
"The magic isn't in achieving perfection - it's in those relatable moments when real life meets real solutions," Burchill said.
Launched during March 2025 across North American markets, the integrated campaign speaks directly to consumers who value both efficiency and authenticity.
