The new ad, a refresh for Australian Avocados, reminds everyone that "everything's better when you smash an avo."
Australian Avocados has launched a new campaign, 'Smash an Avo', as part of a complete brand refresh.
The ad makes light of various pop culture references while also highlighting the popular breakfast, smashed avo on toast.
"Our new ‘Smash an Avo’ campaign is fresh, friendly and slightly cheeky. We think it has a little something that everyone can relate to. We’re confident it’ll help strengthen Australian Avocado’s place in Aussie culture, as well as its role as part of a happy and healthy lifestyle," Hort Innovation marketing manager Claire Tindale-Penning says.
"We’re really proud to represent this beautiful fruit grown right here in Australia and we think this new work highlights just what a versatile and delicious fruit it is.”

This is the first work from Ikon Sydney since winning the business earlier this year, following a competitive pitch.
