Got an awkward shaped gift to give this Christmas? Disguise packaging is here to keep everyone guessing.
That's right. That basketball recipient will be none the wiser.
The campaign, by GPY&R Melbourne, celebrates Disguise Packaging - a product range designed to keep your gift a surprise - and showcases all the ways consumers can hide their gifts in its own packaging.
Consumers can also share their own disguised presents through social media for the chance to win prizes.
Australia Post head of brand and marketing communications Chantelle Lane said: “This campaign reinforces the crucial role Australia Post has to play in supporting the growth of e-commerce in Australia.
“As shopping habits evolve, so too must our product range and with 24/7 Parcel Lockers, Post Office collection services and our newly-created range of Disguise Packaging, we want to demonstrate to consumers that we have everything they’ll need to make this the most surprising and magical Christmas ever.”
In addition, Australia Post is trialling new innovations including a pop-up shop in selected outlets and a gift card Shazam trial in Melbourne and Sydney.
GPY&R Melbourne managing partner Julian Bell said the campaign is “a fantastic way for a well-loved brand to showcase their role at Christmas time”.
“The Disguise Packaging in particular is bound to put a lot of genuine smiles on Australians' faces come Christmas morning,” he said.
