Can a creative agency help cure cancer? M&C Saatchi aims to do just that.
M&C Saatchi has collaborated with the Australian Cancer Research Foundation in the hopes of finding an end to to cancer.
The agency has helped create an online interactive hub at http://www.theone.cancerresearch/
It has also has applied its talents to TV, outdoor, digital, press, cinema, and social with PR to be handled by BangPR.
The campaign will urge consumers to visit the site, which has been set up as a hub for everything that is cancer research in the world.
The ACRF, in collaboration with Australian cancer scientists and research centres, provides authoritative information, awareness movements, research news and important messages of hope for both Australian and global communities, as exemplified by TheOne.CancerResearch campaign.
The site will feature an interactive experience for all supporters of cancer research, compiling their thousands of faces into 'The One' entity which will enable treatments and cures for the deadly disease.
M&C Saatchi executive creative director Ben Walsh said it was overwhelming to create a campaign aimed ultimately at ending cancer.
“It’s not every day you get a brief to help end cancer. It’s humbling to have this opportunity to work with the ACRF and to bring their enormous vision to life,” he said.
