ANZ has introduced Apple Pay and they are making a big deal of the new offering.
Last week ANZ announced it will offer Apply Pay to its five million customers in Australia… And ANZ says it’s a big deal for a fraction of a second.
ANZ is the first Australian bank to partner with Apple Pay. The bank is promoting the new partnership heavily across social media, with #ANZApplePay being promoted to trend on Twitter for more than 24 hours.
In the new ad, a man approaches a cashier to pay for his milk and is asked how wants to pay.
The man then pulls out his phone to pay the bill and the dramatic music begins. People watch in awe as he taps his phone and walks away.
