Keeping people comfortable in a tough Australian summer.
ActronAir has launched a new national brand platform, Be in your element. Ask for an Actron, via full-service agency Enigma.
Enigma was appointed agency of record for ActronAir in July and the campaign, shot in Northern NSW, is its first for the air-conditioning company. It launched this week across national broadcast, digital and social channels and will be live for the next 12 months.
The campaign focuses on the story of a sugarcane farmer and the region's unique features. The TVC shows the harsh elements, contrasted by the cool indoors: “leaving the outside right where it belongs”.
Enigma ECD Pete Buckley says the campaign celebrates the Australian climate and the people that live amongst it.
“Ideally, we want to tell many stories of Aussies in their element throughout the lifespan of this idea and when looking for our first character, we couldn’t go past the iconic Australian sugar cane farmer who lives day in and day out with the very best and very worst of mother nature," says Buckley.
"Being on that farm in Northern NSW, capturing the rawness of the elements and seeing it come together so beautifully through the lens was really memorable.”
The platform uses the insight that Australians put up with a lot when they’re outside with the diverse and unrelenting conditions they’re up against. But as much as they love the outdoors, they also love nothing more than escaping it.
ActronAir head of sales and marketing Jamie Mair says the air-conditioning systems are designed for Australia’s unique climate.
“As an Australian-owned company we’re proud to compete with global brands whilst using products that are designed and built right here, and we’re really excited to tell more people about the benefits our approach delivers – after all, if you can keep people comfortable in a tough Aussie summer, you can keep them comfortable anywhere”.
